Jean, You and EofA are so right about trends from the 70s showing up in todays fashions. I have told both of my daughters on more than one occasion "I had something just like that when I was about your age!!"

I loved browsing your notebook. What a wonderful collection. I graduated high school in 1973 and had planned to major in fashion design as SIU but at last minute decided on interior design instead. I too designed and made most of my own clothes in the early 70s and loved to sketch fashions. (Unfortunaltely, my drawings were recently destoyed in flooded basement.) It's interesting how so many design elements are in todays fashions. Thanks for sharing your notebook!

What a great collection of clippings! They totally capture the era that I also grew up in, and that I see being replayed in current fashions. Thanks for sharing those on your site!
